First aid training for LOW HAZARD Workplace
Emergency First Aid at Work certificate has been developed for the more urban situation where professional help is only minutes away. This 1 day “lifesaver” course covers, Scene Assessment, Unconscious casualties, CPR, Choking and how to deal with bleeding and shock. Minor injuries not requiring immediate hospital attention will be discussed along with the maintenance of first aid provision in the workplace and the completion of associated paperwork and accident reporting. Students will receive 6 hours instruction, a comprehensive course booklet and a small personal first aid kit for use during or to take away after the course.
This is a nationally recognised qualification, valid for 3 years. The HSE strongly recommend you undergo a 3 hour “skills update” annually. This training is provided with the approval of ITC First Aid (HSE approval FAAMS 1670/96).
ITC is the awarding body for first aid training provided by Addventure Awards Ltd.
